Top Ten (10) Players at the Esports World Cup 2024

The Esports World Cup, happening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 3rd to August 25th 2024, has brought together 15 of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams around the world. The prize pool for this title is $1,000,000 and the winners of this tournament are NAVI, with G2 coming in as 1st runner-up losing to them in an intense 2:1 final. 

 

Below are some the players who shined brightest in this tournament: 

 

  1. broKy – Rating: 6.5: broky is an esports athlete with the team FaZe (also FaZe Clan), and is showing consistency with his performance at this year’s Esports World Cup. FaZe has not been able to keep up in this tournament, but broky’s skills are showing why he is in the upper echelon of Counter-Strike 2 community.  

 

  1. Senzu – Rating: 6.5: Senzu is an esports athlete who plays for the team The MongolZ, and is currently with a rating of 6.5 from the CS2 tournament. His performance has been a standout one for the team in the playoffs, but they fell to the team FURIA in the end.   

 

  1. Jame – Rating: 6.7: Jame is a professional esports athlete who plays for the team Virtus.pro. He has gradually shown improvements in his performance and is now one of the crucial players of the team and in the tournament, leading his team to the semifinals.

 

  1. KSCERATO – Rating: 6.7: Team FURIA’s own KSCERATO is an esports athlete who has shown promise for some months now since his time with the team. Although he struggled against MOUZ in the playoffs, he has become a key player for the team with impressive performances in the CS2 tournament. 

 

  1. moNESY – Rating: 6.8: G2 Esports’s very own moNESY is also a known figure and esports player in the CS2 community, making his mark in the CS2 tournament for his team. His performances as part of G2’s new roster have been top-tier and helped with taking the team to the finals in their first major event together. 

 

  1. b1t – Rating: 7.0: b1t is an esports athlete with the team NAVI (Natus Vincere) and has risen to the heights of MVP with his stellar performance in this year’s Esports World Cup. His performances are what helped NAVI land the victory in the CS2 tournament, with his clutch plays and consistency.  

 

  1. Jimpphat – Rating: 7.2: Team MOUZ showed up with a young prodigy in Jimpphat, who gave exceptional performances in the tournament. His showdown with FURIA is what earned him the spotlight although MOUZ fell short and missed the chance to play in the finals.

 

  1. ZywOo – Rating: 7.3: ZywOo is a member of the team Vitality who showed a strong performance in the tournament. Unfortunately Vitality could not cross over into the quarterfinals due to their inconsistency, but his individual brilliance has been seen in this tournament. 

 

  1. NiKo – Rating: 7.3: NiKo is a member of the team G2, who was making a strong case for MVP of the tournament as he led the team to the finals. Although G2 came in as 1st runner-up, NiKo’s performances were intense throughout the tournament.

 

  1. w0nderful – Rating: 7.3:  w0nderful is a member of the tournament’s winner, NAVI. His performances have been crucial in the tournament, part of which landed NAVI its victory and transformed them into a formidable team.

With the tournament concluding, eyes are set on the next event, BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024, happening in Copenhagen on the 29th of July, 2024, where some more action in CS2 alongside other titles will be on full display.
